Ms. Dallas began serving hercountry as a United States Air Force Academy graduate, using herBiology/Pre-Medicine degree as a Healthcare Administrator and MedicalLogistician with the United States Air Force, still serving her country as aMajor with the 914th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron today. While with the Air Force, her experiences ledher to develop skills in Managed Care, Patient Administration, ResourceManagement, Medical Logistics, Facility Management, and Marketing…to include aHumanitarian deployment to Haiti in support of Operation Uphold Democracy in1999 and an Aeromedical Evacuation rotation to Afghanistan in support ofOperation Enduring Freedom in 2011.
Joining the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in 2000, Danaworked at length with vendors and beneficiaries alike in support of theNational Mail Order Pharmacy program…focusing on information systems, dataanalysis, beneficiary eligibility, and customer support. Joining the Pharmaceutical Technical/Qualitybranch in 2003, Dana very quickly took over program management for DLA’sVaccine and Cold Chain Management Programs. Taking on such initiatives as the Department of Defense Seasonal andPandemic Influenza programs, as well as the Pharmaceutical and Medical-SurgicalPrime Vendor programs, has established DLA as an industry benchmark for ColdChain, as well as Ms. Dallas as the Department of Defense subject matter expertin Cold Chain Management.
